Style Inspiration: Le Rouge et le Noir

The increasingly crisp autumn days have me craving nothing more than curling up indoors with a picturesque literary gem. So I am currently making my way through Le Rouge et le Noir, a formidable French classic by Stendhal, sweeping me off into the bucolic countryside, provincial drawing rooms and Parisian salons.
The title itself sparked a little “future heirlooms” shopping edit: Pieces that, like a great novel, are destined to outlast the fleeting seasons and earn their rightful place in the long game of personal style.
